Description: The Hugo is a waterproof and voluminous monster of a pack. Made in the Jandd tradition of "bigger is better", yet has subtle design qualities such as the cut-away front edge for a kick-free ride. Also has D-Rings for an optional shoulder strap and an insane amount of the highest-quality reflective tape known to man. The bags have a bungie cord on the outside panels. As with it's smaller counterparts this bag will be able to accept add-on pockets. Designed for rear pannier use, this bag has reflective lash tabs at the rear for LED lights.This bag could safely house the witch of the west in the wickedest of conditions.

So what is "waterproof"? Many companies claim to have waterproof panniers, but Jandd's truly meet that specification. On the Jandd waterproof panniers, all sewing lines are heat-sealed with vinyl tape for waterproofing. Futhermore, since we designed these packs with commuters in mind, we developed a new locking system for the panniers, called Module Loc™. Finally, our Opal Handle Pac uses our exclusive mounting system, again without holes penetrating the bag. Have we confused you yet? If you're a commuter in a wet region, go with the Jandd Hurricane series. If you're touring through a range of climates, we recommend the regular Jandd Mountaineering products as they are exceptionally strong, and due to their construction, more versatile than any of the waterproof varieties on the market. If you're touring and it's raining, you can always buy the waterproof rain covers.
