Wet Rabbit Waterproof Pannier

Description: An excellent basic bag for the budget minded cyclist who may encounter a rainy day. The pannier has a single main compartment which uses a standard dry bag rolled top closure system. 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material for greater visibility, and a double layer of material to strengthen the bag. A blinking light can be attached to a reflective strip on the rear as well. The pre-mounted bungee attachment system (same as the one on our Shop Hopper) allows for minor fore and aft adjustments by utilizing the three pocket daisy chain sewn at the base of its suspension. When a simple, economical bag is required, and it might get rainy — a Wet Rabbit fits the bill. These models now have an integrated carry handle attached to the hooks.
Sold in singles. New production in stock are the 2019 which have welted seams and exterior taping.

Jandd has long been a proponent of recycled and sustainable manufacturing. Running Rabbit is part of our continuing effort to move in a more “green” direction. We rescue fabric remnants from our own cutting runs and from other manufacturing sources. Typically, these fabric remnants would end up in a landfill due to their small yardage and unusual shapes. This is why we often have colors you wouldn’t normally see in cycling gear. And, the same color may differ a bit from bag to bag. We feel it’s better to use it than lose it to a landfill.

Recycled plastics. Our bag stiffeners and buckles come from recycled plastic materials. Use and reuse.
Recycled aluminum. Our aluminum parts come from previously manufactured material. This eases the use of and extraction of resources.
